Berries named Young Professional Award Finalists

Following suit from previous award winner and Director of the event agency Blackberry Events - Georgie Butler, the team are thrilled to announce that not one, not two but three 'berries' have been named finalists for the prestigious Great Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards.

Over 500 young professionals from a variety of industries will take to the Birmingham Town Hall to celebrate excellence in the under 35’s and all they have achieved within their careers working in Greater Birmingham.

The event is held by Future Faces, an arm of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce that focuses on the development and championing of young professionals in the region. 2027 looks to be an exciting year for the awards and those attending with some much-welcomed changes on the horizon, including the move from the ICC to Birmingham Town Hall and a change up in event format to keepit fresh and engaging.

The Blackberry team are up against tough competition from inspirational people who work in a wide range of organisations, including some household names of which operate on a global scale, such as Gym Shark and KPMG.

Across 16 award categories in total the team are represented in three:

Business Development Manager, Sophie Millman is up for the award for Sales, Comms and Marketingf, recognising her efforts in driving brand awareness and business growth.

Marketing and Sustainability Manager Ellie Cashmore is in the running for the award for ESG and Sustainability, with her efforts in responsible business practices being highlighted.

And finally, Event Manager Rae Rodien is up for the award for Events and Hospitality, showcasing her hard work in delivering high-quality experiences.
