As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an ambitious Event Sales Executive to join our teamand play a key role in driving sponsorship and exhibition revenue across our event portfolio.
The Role
This is a varied,fast-paced role with a strong focus on sponsorship and exhibition sales,supported by broader responsibilities across business development, account management and pre-event delivery.
You’ll be responsible for identifying, securing and nurturing sponsor and exhibitor relationships, while also contributing to proposals, client development and the smooth administration of events.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales:
· Proactively sell sponsorship and exhibition packages across Blackberry Events’ portfolio –including high profile award ceremonies such as Visit England Excellence Awards and large-scale conferences such as the World Fire Congress and Inspiring Leadership Conference
· Identify and approach new commercial partners through outbound sales and networking
· Manage sponsor and exhibitor relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery
· Build tailored sponsorship proposals and sales presentations – where necessary.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
· Act as the main point of contact for sponsors and commercial partners
· Manage contracts, invoicing coordination, and sponsorship deliverables
· Ensure sponsors receive agreed visibility, branding, and promotional benefits
· Represent Blackberry Events at industry functions, networking events, and client meetings
· Support event admin: including invoicing coordination, ticket sales and exhibition floor plans.
Strategy and Business Development:
· Support wider business development activity and new client opportunities, reporting to our Business Development Manager
· Assist in developing and growing existing accounts, maximising repeat business and upsell opportunities
· Liaise internally with event delivery and marketing teams
About You
Essential:
· 2–3 years’ experience in event sales, sponsorship or exhibitions
· Proven ability to hit sales targets and build commercial relationships
· Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Confident managing multiple accounts and priorities
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
Desirable:
· Experience working within an events agency environment
· Familiarity with awards, conferences, exhibitions or live events
· Experience building bespoke proposals and sponsorship packages
What We Offer
· £30,000 salary, plus incentive and bonus structure.
· Hybrid Working.
· 25 days annual leave plus all UK bank holidays.
· Closed between Christmas and New Year.
· Finish early Fridays in the 6 week summer holidays.
