Fast growing, Birmingham based event management company, Blackberry Events are making noise in the meetings and events industry after a record-breaking year of growth and award wins. On Friday 30th January, leading industry association beam held their inaugural awards ceremony, celebrating excellence within the events industry.
The awards welcomed hundreds of event and hospitality professionals to the recently launched and prestigious Masters Suite at The Belfry Golf and Spa Resort for a night of celebration and spontaneity.
Theming giants, Eventologists and entertainment superstars Mr and Mrs Grey surprised guests with a moulin rouge themed extravaganza that blew delegates away and made for an evening to remember.
There were 5 categories in total of which Blackberry Events were named winners for Collaboration of the Year Award alongside their partners at the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT). The judges commended their hard work in making The Inspiring Leadership Conference the success story it is today.
Blackberry Events and NAHT have been the event partners for Inspiring Leadership’s annual conference for over 12 years. Original Blackberry Director’s Steve and Jackie have over the years built strong relationships within the educational sector which led to them building the UK’s longest standing leadership in education event, celebrating its twelfth year in 2026. Steve and Jackie passed on this legacy for now Blackberry Events Director Georgie Butler to continue evolving with the support of her growing team of experts.
Under new directorship the team has continued to enhance the event to keep it valuable, impactful and modern for all.
Judges on the night included leading experts from agencies and venues across the UK and their comments really captured the essence of what the event management company aims to achieve:
