Blackberry partners with event:decision to strengthen responsible events

Having built a reputation for delivering events with purpose, ECOsmart Certified Agency Blackberry Events, has partnered with event:decision, the global partner for responsible business in events, to strengthen responsible event performance and embed best practice across its client portfolio.

Through the collaboration, Blackberry Events has engaged with event:decision’s Impact framework, enabling the agency to systematically assess, benchmark, and improve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices across its events. The partnership supports Blackberry’s commitment to delivering high-quality events that align with client values while driving continual improvement in responsible delivery.

The approach moves beyond one-off sustainability actions, focusing instead on measurable performance, structured governance, and meaningful social value. By using event:decision’s data-led methodology, Blackberry can identify strengths, address gaps, and prioritise actions that have the greatest impact for clients and themselves.

Importantly, the framework allows Blackberry to tailor responsible event strategies to different event types and client objectives, ensuring responsibility is relevant, proportionate, and embedded,rather than treated as a bolt-on which is key when dealing with both public and corporate sector clients like Blackberry do.
